For you, this means: after every "ignition on," you have to dive deep into the infotainment menus to deactivate warning sounds or steering interventions. Our Intelligent Memory Module is the technical solution to this "reset compulsion." Specifically developed for the MEB and PPE platforms, the module remembers your choices and automatically restores them at every engine start. It’s the smart way to keep your electric cockpit exactly how you want it.
The five functions your vehicle finally remembers:
- Drive Profile (Drive Mode): Whether Eco, Comfort, or Individual – your vehicle starts exactly in the profile where you left it. No more automatic reset to "Normal" after every power cycle.
- Speed Warning (ISA): The acoustic alert when exceeding the detected speed limit is reliably muted, provided you have chosen this in the menu. Enjoy a silent cabin without the intrusive beeping.
- Lane Keeping Assistant (Lane Assist): If you find the active steering intervention intrusive on rural roads or in construction zones, the module permanently saves the deactivation.

1. Does the module affect the manufacturer's warranty?
No. Since the module does not perform any programming (coding) on the control units but merely simulates a manual menu selection, the vehicle's original digital state is preserved. It can be unplugged before service appointments if desired.
2. Does the module need to be removed for software updates?
Generally, no. Since it acts as a hardware bridge and does not modify the internal software, it does not interfere with Over-the-Air (OTA) updates or dealership workshop equipment.
3. Can I reactivate the systems manually?
Yes. The module is "intelligent" and follows the "Last Mode" principle. If you reactivate a system in the menu, the module will remember it is now "On" and keep it active until you decide otherwise.
