With our Active Valve Control, you can get complete control of the exhaust valves in your Cupra Formentor VZ.


Functions



The module is installed insite the car and the original state of your car stays retained.

Exhaust valves control via original control elements

Following functions are available with Audi Drive Select menu:
  • Cupra Drive Select: Efficiency + Comfort Mode 
    Both exhaust valves are closed (even while cold start)

  • Cupra Drive Select: Normal Mode
    Original Mode - valves behaves like without module.
  • Cupra Drive Select: Individual Mode
    Original Mode - valves behaves like without module.

  • Cupra Drive Select: Cupra Mode
    Both exhaust valves are open permanently
Innovative features 
  • Protection of engine (security function) 
    Fully loaded car drives with closed exhaust valves can damage your engine. That’s why our module opens valves from revs of about 4000 RPM in order to protect the engine.

  • Reversal of valves via original button
    You’ll have the possibility to reverse the valves during dynamic as well as comfort mode. That means: You’re driving in comfort mode with closed valves but wish to open them? No problem, just click on the original button twice.

  • SSA-Memory
    The module saves the current status of the Start&Stop and restore it after the car was restarted. (Start&Stop Memory function).

The Active Valve Control module is compatible with the following models:
 Vehicles with with a valve exhaust system at delivery: 
  • Cupra Formentor VZ with two exhaust valves: 228 KW / 310 HS
