With our Active Valve Control, you can get complete control of the exhaust valves in your VW Golf 8R.


Functions



The module is installed insite the car and the original state of your car stays retained.

Exhaust valves control via original control elements

Following functions are available with Audi Drive Select menu:
  • VW Drive Select: Efficiency + Comfort Mode 
    Both exhaust valves are closed (even while cold start)

  • VW Drive Select: Normal Mode
    Original Mode - valves behaves like without module.
  • VW Drive Select: Sport Mode
    Both exhaust valves are open permanently

  • VW Drive Select: Race Mode
    Both exhaust valves are open permanently
Innovative features 
  • Protection of engine (security function) 
    Fully loaded car drives with closed exhaust valves can damage your engine. That’s why our module opens valves from revs of about 4000 RPM in order to protect the engine.
  • Module Deactivation via original Button
    You’ll have the possibility to deactivate our module without removing it? Simply disable and reenable the ESP without a break. The module is now deactivated. To reenable the Module, you can simply repeat this procedure.

  • SSA-Memory
    The module saves the current status of the Start&Stop and restore it after the car was restarted. (Start&Stop Memory function).

The Active Valve Control module is compatible with the following models:
 Vehicles with with a valve exhaust system at delivery: 
  • VW Golf 8R with two exhaust valves: 235 KW / 320 HS
